Cylon is a leading independent controls company focused on the development and manufacture of control hardware and software and the provision of energy management solutions internationally. Established in 1985 in Ireland and headquartered in Dublin it now has a local presence in UK, Germany, US, ME & China and a network of 200+ system integrators globally. Cylon acquired US based Building Automation Systems manufacturer, American Auto-Matrix, in 2014.

In early 2018 Cylon acquired Teletrol following a successful partnership since 2013 with Philips to manage & support the Philips Teletrol dealer business. American Auto-Matrix has been rebranded to Cylon Auto-Matrix.

Cylon’s energy management controls solutions consist of a leading HTML5 open protocol BACnet BEMS solution, and Cylon Unitron, a proprietary BEMS solution, suitable for commercial or industrial buildings worldwide.

Cylon has over 30 years expertise in the design and development of building control hardware solutions and has a deep understanding of how buildings operate.

Using this knowledge, Cylon has developed a cloud based energy management platform that is designed to be user friendly and intuitive, which directs energy managers and building owners to areas of building efficiency improvement in real time.

As an agnostic software as a service platform, Cylon’s Active Energy Manager can work with Cylon or any other building management system. By utilising the existing controls infrastructure in a building, Cylon can help customers target improvements through analytics, alarms and reports accessible on any internet enabled device including smart phones.

Payback periods of as low as six weeks and energy savings of between 20% and 40% can be achieved with the Cylon Energy Solution.
